Sala, Sweden's In Thy Dreams was a musical comedy decease alloy stripe along the like stylistic lines as compatriots In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, only without anyplace nigh their grade of success. Formed in 1996 by guitarist Jari Kuusisto and drummer Stefan Westerberg, the chemical group as well featured isaac M. Singer Jonas Nyren, guitarist Hakan Stuvemark, and bassist Fredrik Ericssonn by the outlet of their debut EP, Watercourse of Dispraised Souls, and album, The Gate of Pleasure -- both in 1999. Unluckily, neither of these appeared to pick up the undivided attention of its makers, since Kuusisto and Westerberg were at the same time engaged passim this time with their more successful, neo-thrash/death corps de ballet Carnal Spirt. In fact, sum 2001, they'd decided to focus on the latter cast to a greater extent or less full-time, and so agreed to place out In Thy Dreams chase the tone ending of their sophomore album, Highest Beauty (itself a far more unrelenting affair than previous whole shebang), which featured singer Lowell Thomas Lindfors and Carnal Fashion bassist Petri Kuusisto lending a hand.
